On September 14thand 15th 2018, Inertia collaborated with the Egyptian Tennis Federation and Gezira Sporting Club to host the Davis Cup Tournament in Egypt as it was of huge importance for the Egyptian Team and a humongous chance to qualify to the Group 1 stage for the first time ever. It was the 2nd time for the tournament to be held in Egypt.
